Shock Conversion & Lowering Kits
Adjustable shock mount kits can be used to either lower the ride height of the ATV, utilize different length shocks, or both. These kits can be used with or without the lower a-arm widening kits depending on whether the customer wants to also vary their ATV's width.
A second alternative for lowering the front of the ATV, is to install an a-arm widening kit, but use the factory shock mounts on the frame to mount the shocks. By widening the a-arms without changing where the top of the shocks mount, the ride height of the ATV is lowered by approximately three inches. This solution not only lowers the ATV, but increases its width for added stability. This is especially popular for flat track racing, ice racing or drag racing where lowering and widening are both beneficial.
